The cooling body is made for customer specific die sizes and can bemanufactured with direct or indirect cooling. The die box is mounted on a cast and helix adjustment plate and can be modified in both horizontal and vertical planes for fine tuning. One of its best-selling products is the wire drawing machine. Lämneå Bruk claims to be the only European manufacturer that can supply three different types of drawing machine: a straight line, a loop and a control line. All drawing lines have a flexible machine set-up: it is possible to start on, bypass and finish on any block, depending on the production requirements. The drawing machines are all equipped with a double cooling system for the prevention of block overheating. Specially shaped v-grooves create a larger surface, supporting the cooling mechanism. Each block is also coated with zinc on the inside and tungsten carbide on the outside, for enhanced cooling capability. The tilted table design can be adjusted in height and degree, adding to the flexibil ity. For increased efficiency, the block wire height is automatically filled to a set level, which can be easily adjusted in the opera tor control for constant wire filling.
