Schlatter adds cold forming systems The Schlatter Group, a specialist in resistance welding systems for industrial mesh manufacture, is adding systems for cold forming wire manufacture to its product range. This advancement not only adds industrial value, but also turns Schlatter into a comprehensive partner for industrial mesh. The cold rolling lines and stretching systems form the feedstock into ribbed steel to reinforce concrete according to applicable standards. The manufacturing solutions range from entry-level systems to highly auto- mated systems and integrated production lines.
With the expansion of the product range, Schlatter is providing systems for the manufacture of feedstock to be further processed in mesh welding machines or for the sale of wire in the form of coils. The drawing machines are used to produce high-resistance quality wires for industrial applications.
With a broad spectrum of manufacturing solutions, Schlatter allows for automated and efficient production for almost any application at customers’ facilities. A cold-rolling line can be integrated and optimally adapted to the welding line. Holistic manufacturing solutions, entire

system, and is equipped with high-speed dual take-up for continuous production. To meet FEP/PTFE cable requirements for military applications, aerospace and aircraft equipment, OEM and nuclear power products, Supermac supplies high- speed extrusion lines. The screw and barrel are specially designed and a specific material is used to take care of highly corrosion-resistant materials during extrusion. Custom-designed screws meet the differing processing temperatures of FEP. Supermac Industries (India) Ltd www.supermacindia.com
With 5G shaping the future of communi- cation, and fibre optics being pushed all the way to homes, worldwide demand for FTTH cables is increasing. Supermac offers a high speed FTTH optical fibre line equipped with high precision tension control devices, which runs in a complete
Supermac also offers a high-speed tandem line for data cable manufacturing. The tandem extrusion machine for LAN cables takes solid copper and draws and anneals it before putting it through the extrusion process. The line has on-line diameter control, with capacitance monitoring
