Agro Steel Wire (ASW) has set itself the goal of producing technologically high-quality and sophisticated wire in an environmentally compatible way. Since its foundation in 2004 ASW has made a name for itself in the steel wire industry. At its site in Bad Essen, Germany, high quality wire for a wide range of applications is manufactured on sophisticated wire drawing machines. The company’s iron and steel wire is used for springs in mattresses and upholstery, for sinuous springs, in bent or curved items, in mesh and gauze as well as in the field of technical springs and wire ropes. Success for Queins Queins Machines, a member of Wilms Group since 2011, is going successfully into the 4 th quarter of 2012. A recently finalised planetary strander for the production of umbilicals is now being assembled at the customer’s facility. Also a rigid strander for 800mm spools is being installed at the customer’s plant. Queins also has a 6x1600 planetary strander ready for dispatch to the customer. By the end of 2012, among others, there will be a 91-wire, a 37-wire rigid strander and a double twist buncher finalised. The sales and design departments have been expanded, and Queins looks forward to a prospective 2013.
