Reels for shipping and storage IWE Germany is a worldwide supplier of steel reels and drums for cables, wires and strands. These reels can be designed for internal processes or for shipping purposes with dimensions from 800mm to 3,500mm flange diameter and according to DIN standards or customer specifications.

IWE’s durable shipping reels aremanufactured with solid flanges and reinforcements. They are offered with smooth internal flanges and a smooth drum surface for protection of the winding material. Special surface treatments are available, including hot galvanizing to UNI EN ISO 1461, painting with a two-component lacquer and heat resistant lacquer. Reels are also available in stainless steel. Several accessories are available: fixing holes for safe loading, rim profiles for nail-less lagging, large steel nameplates for a company logo, data plate, cable entry bow, tying bow and more.
