Mekosan Stand: 16G40

Mekosan was established in 1997 in Kayseri in Turkey, initially producing wire drawing machines and automation systems.

Since then it has expanded to include: • Wire drawing machine production: there are di erent types of machines for di erent applications, and the company also produces accessories as part of its range. It currently has 90 machines running at companies in Turkey, Argentina, Algeria, Syria, Cameroon and India. It has 35 machines operating in mono copper wire drawing. • Automation system engineering: the company builds automated wastewater treatment systems, energy saving programmes, Scada systems for di erent applications, and lift and crane applications. Although Mekosan is an engineering and machine production company it is also known as a drive and motor supplier, and is an important partner of ABB, distributing its drives and motors. The company employs more than 120 sta in two production plants and has ambitious plans for expansion over the next two years to increase the workforce to 145.
