Deyang Jiechuang Wire & Cable Machinery Company (JCDOFAMA), specialists in manufacturing and supplying non-ferrous metal wire production lines, recently announced that the aluminium breakdown machine with continuous annealer for compound conductive wire, supplied to Jiangsu East Far Cable Company, has finished its testing run and is now in use. The machine can produce round aluminium wire and two types of aluminium profile wire with a continuous annealing process. JCDOFAMA has sold another type of profile wire drawing machine to Jiangsu Zhongtian Technology Company; this has also finished commissioning and been put into use and a second machine has been ordered for the same company. This model has redesigned transmission and lubricant systems, adopting a multi-motor transmission. It is mainly used for producing many kinds of aluminium profile wires and also round wires. Wire rod and bar mill in Brazil

A new rod and bar mill, with an annual production capacity of 250,000t, has been supplied to Siderúrgica Norte Brasil SA, by SMS Meer. The plant is located in Para State, Brazil. The main components are eight cantilever and six housingless stands in horizontal/ vertical arrangement, a ten-stand wire rod block with new drive equipment, a loop laying head, a loop cooling conveyor (LCC®), the complete coil transport facility, a high-speed delivery system (HSD®) and a cooling bed with bundling and tying facilities.
