After April’s successful wire 2014 in Düsseldorf, Germany, the industry turns its attention Stateside for Wire Expo. The Indiana Convention Center, Indianapolis, plays host to the show from 6 th to 7 th May. paper presentations, an exhibition and product demonstrations throughout the two-day event. Wire Expo originated in Boston in 1990 and has been hosted throughout the USA since, with exhibiting companies including suppliers to the wire, cable, fastener, formed and fabricated wire products. Companies have represented all sectors of metal and bre. Some of the exhibiting companies can be found from page 44 onwards in this issue of EuroWire . Also in this issue is news that Nexans is deploying the world’s longest and deepest XLPE cable system. This can be found on page 9.
