New series of induction generators For more than 50 years, CEIA (Costruzioni Elettroniche Industriali Automatismi) has been manufacturing high and medium frequency inductive generators. The company has now introduced the Power Cube SA/400 range of generators. This line has a wide frequency range from 100 to 400 kHz, and due to its modular design is available in several configurations to meet different user requirements: • 12.5 kW generator with single heating head output • 12.5 kW generator with dual alternative heating heads output • Double 12.5 kW generators with dual simultaneous heating heads output • 25 kW generator with single heating head output • 25 kW generator with dual alternative heating heads output The Power Cube SA/400 series features an advanced built-in controller, and is equipped with a data logger for quality process control and a web server for remote control and service.

All CEIA accessories can be used, as well as optical pyrometers or thermal cameras, automated wire feeders for the brazing process, or Fieldbus for implementation in automation lines. The new SA/400 generators are equipped with standard Harting connectors for quick and easy management of the many I/O signals available. These specifications make the generators ready for Industry 4.0 requirements. All of the new generators are equipped with a Dynamic function, which allows auto- matic configuration of the internal parameters of the generator, reducing the machine set-up time to a minimum. With their specific control software, the generators are able to adapt in real time to changes

in workload, automatically modifying the circuit of the internal coupling, maximising the transferred energy and avoiding energy waste. All SA/400 generators are equipped with a touchscreen graphical interface that allows the operator to access the programming of operating parameters in a fast and intuitive way.
